The History of Lake Havasu Family Eyecare
The story of Lake Havasu Family Eyecare is one of a growing family. In the summer of 2003, Tania Sobchuk, O.D., moved from Oregon to Lake Havasu City and began working with Dr. James Tammaro from Eyes of Arizona. After learning a great deal from this experience, she purchased the Lake Havasu City location of Eyes of Arizona, and soon after, opened the doors to Lake Havasu Family Eyecare in 2005.
Over the next few years, we welcomed Brooke Vetter, O.D., our Chief Administrative Officer Audra Taylor, and Breanna Ruesch, O.D., to the team. Even after a renovation, in 2015 we realized: LHFE needed more space! The next couple years were a whirlwind, as we purchased a new office and Dr. Sobchuk received her U.S. citizenship in 2017, but all that activity didn’t stop our growth — we quickly expanded our team, adding Sandra Davidson, O.D., and Christina Martinez, O.D.
Lake Havasu Family Eyecare continues to grow, but we’ll never lose sight of our commitment to our community. We’re excited for what the future has in store for both our practice and our patients!
