Dr. Breanna Ruesch

Dr. Breanna Ruesch grew up in Medford, Wisconsin with her mom, dad, and three younger sisters. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse in 2011, majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Mathematics. During this time, she researched physical chemistry, was published in the Journal of Physical Chemistry Part A, and was named Outstanding Student of the Year in Physical Chemistry.

Dr. Ruesch studied to become an optometrist at The Ohio State University College of Optometry. Her passion for eye care was inspired by her own childhood eye doctor.  During optometry school, Dr. Ruesch spent time volunteering at homeless shelters and providing free eye exams and glaucoma screenings to those in need. After graduating Cum Laude in 2015, she joined Dr. Sobchuk and Dr. Vetter, and has been practicing eye care in Lake Havasu City ever since. Dr. Ruesch is a member of the American Optometric Association and Arizona Optometric Association.

During her free time, Dr. Ruesch enjoys spending time outdoors. She loves hiking, swimming, fishing, and taking walks with her dog, Peanut. In 2018, she married her college sweetheart, Dylan. Dr. Ruesch is part of the London Bridge Lion’s Club and is looking forward to giving back to the community.
