Dr. Brooke Vetter has been providing care at Lake Havasu Family Eyecare for over 4 years.. She joined Dr. Sobchuk after receiving an honorable discharge from the United States Army in the summer of 2007.
Dr. Vetter graduated from the Defiance College in 1999 with a degree in Environmental Science, that summer she was awarded the United States Health Professional Scholarship and began her studies at the Illinois College of Optometry. She graduated Cum Laude from ICO in 2003 and began her training for her military service at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
Dr. Vetter served four years in the United States Army as a Captain and was stationed at Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Benning, Georgia and Weeds Army Community Hospital, Fort Irwin, California. During her military career she was awarded the Army Commendation Medal (two awards), Army Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Army Service Medal.
Dr. Vetter married her college sweetheart, Tim, and together they have 4 beautiful children. They chose to call Lake Havasu City home because of the wonderful weather and amazing community. They have not been disappointed. She can often be found at local baseball diamonds, soccer fields, dance recitals or teaching a Sunday school class. She enjoys spending time with her family or training for local races. The Vetter family has found a home in the Community of Lake Havasu. |
