Dr. Tania Sobchuk joined the beautiful community of Lake Havasu City in the summer of 2003, right after graduating from Pacific University College of Optometry with honors. She began practicing with Dr. James Tammaro at Eyes of Arizona and quickly figured out how much she loved the city. On April 1, 2005 Dr. Sobchuk purchased her current location at 1990 McCulloch Blvd from Dr. Tammaro and started Lake Havasu Family Eyecare. The two practices maintain a strong working relationship.

Dr. Sobchuk is originally from British Columbia, Canada. She completed her undergraduate degree with honors, majoring in Microbiology and Biochemistry at the beautiful University of Victoria on Vancouver Island. She grew up on the “wet” west coast of BC on a hobby farm, where she raised sheep and horses. Her parents and one sister still live in BC, so during the summer she can be found cooling off up north.

During her free time, Dr. Sobchuk loves being in the outdoors, especially hanging out with her Golden Retriever Oakley. She is an avid skier and snowboarder and loves mountain biking, hiking and travelling. Dr. Sobchuk is very active in the community of Lake Havasu and is a current member of the London Bridge Rotary Club. She also served two terms as a board member of Hospice of Havasu.

Lake Havasu Family Eyecare, Dr. Vetter and the entire staff are Dr. Sobchuk’s family and she thoroughly loves being part of the community.
